The Havey Institute for Global Health Seminar Series is held the first Wednesday of each month, September through July, and features the research and ideas of outstanding global health leaders at Feinberg, the larger Northwestern community, and beyond. Our speaker for September is: Chisom Obiezu-Umeh, PhD Post-Doctoral Scholar Department of Medical Social Sciences Center for Dissemination and Implementation Science Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine Chisom Obiezu-Umeh, PhD, is a postdoctoral research fellow at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Her work focuses on implementation science and global health, with an emphasis on advancing community-to-clinic interventions to address chronic disease disparities in resource-constrained settings. She has expertise in community-engaged research, social innovation, and the development and psychometric evaluation of measurement tools. This event is co-sponsored by the Ryan Family Center for Global Primary Care.
